I know you don't love me, but you've still been thinking of me.

My day has been filled with games of scramble, coffee, and Wilco.

Oh, and Project Runway.

Don't judge me.

Be a star and fall down somewhere next to me.

The trains at night don't bother me as much as the ones during the day.
Also, I hope to invest in some curtains soon. The light filters in too much in the mornings.

It came out magical.

Ah, school. First two days of classes went as well as they could go I suppose. I think it's going to be an interesting semester as far as that goes. It seems that film and philosophy are going to be the best two classes, with respect to history as well, but I don't enjoy classes with 350+ people, but that's to be expected. At least discussions are relatively small in comparison. Back to film class, I'll start with saying that it's called Cinema, Sex, and the City. Now, it doesn't look at the TV series Sex and the City, but rather it looks at cinema as it changed during the break of the 20th century until around 1920 with the introduction of make-up and well, of course, sex. It takes a look at both urban and rural standpoints as well as heterosexuality and homosexuality in films. It will certainly be an experience. And philosophy, well, the teacher just seems so jazzed about the subject. It's his passion I have no doubts on that, which is great, right? But no one else in the class seems as thrilled to have that as I do. People want the easy way out. I say, give me a challenge.

On another note, I believe dance parties are a gift from God. Last night, I hurried back to Cola for said dance party after a cookout. I thought I was going to miss it, but that was certainly not the case. Walking around to the backyard, you get kind of nervous, and there's always that feeling of "which room is the dance room?" Oh, but it's so clearly pointed out. It's always right past the kitchen. So, we stand around the yard for a bit, and then it's time to dance. Ladytron and Deerhoof make for some great dancing. I can never get enough.

You can crush us, you can bruise us, or even shoot us.

I'm ready to leave this town and head back to school if only I could take some people with me. Stick them in my pocket for safe keeping. I think this summer, spending it in Greenwood, has been good for me possibly. While I could complain about not going where I would have liked (i.e. Chicago, etc), I can't say that spending these few months at home have been terrible, they have certainly been an experience.

I just wish I could still see a few of my friends everyday. Have coffee dates and just talk. No one does that anymore. I would enjoy one right now. So, if you're listening or reading rather, let's go get some coffee and talk. I'm in the mood to talk and I'm not sure how long that will last.

Where'd you find these crazy boys this time?

I don't think I have been so shaken. So much has occurred within these past few weeks. I wish I had the time to write out what has been going on, but time has never been something I have had a strong grip on. Instead of sleeping, I am here, blogging away about useless things. I was really looking forward to summer. Spending time with a special friend and those I rarely get to see. It all sounded so grand, but it's all crumbling and falling apart in more ways than one. I am really not sure what the reason for this is. Maybe they are being pulled away so I can better place myself in God rather than people. I have been avoiding Him lately. I get like that sometimes. I just don't want to listen. I guess I can be rather stubborn about things.

On another note, I cannot wait for my numerous road trips this summer. Although they will only be three days long each, I really hope they will be marvelous. I am certain of where two of these road trips will take place.

I hope you're all doing swell.
Goodnight.
