despite what i've said, i always want you near.

so, nearly five days later i have begun the trek into the cardboard boxes lying on my floor. i only have three left it seems, but man. i have so much stuff. that's really the only and best way to describe it. i have books/notebooks from two years ago just lying around. i'll never do anything with them, but yet, they're here to keep me company. i have made progress decorating my room, hanging pictures and whatnot. but my room is so messy. hopefully tomorrow i'll have everything where it needs to be.


in any case, i'm rather excited about this year. not sure what it is, but i can feel it to be a good one. i've got a running partner now and finally a city that i can bike in without being constantly yelled at. i'm going to make the best of this year.

All this little girl needs is a name.

Officially back at school with loads of unpacking awaiting me. I suppose I am ready to decorate my room and have things the way I would prefer them, but I am certainly not fond of putting away clothes. Despite all the work (yeah, right) I have to do, I cannot stop thinking about last night. We had a grand time just listening/watching our friends play music with a huge game of four square to follow. Doubles four square at that, which I believe is better by far.

There's a masquerade this Saturday. I need to design/make a mask for said party. Any suggestions?

The Dodos - Winter



I'm really into The Dodos lately as well as the board game Clue.
We've been playing The Simpsons version, which has weapons along the lines of a poisoned donut, a necklace, and a saxophone to name a few.
Sadly, I didn't win once tonight, but I, like always, came so close.

I saw my first shooting star tonight on the way home.

When I'm dreaming, I could be anyone.

I would like to have a half sleeve on my left arm and up onto my shoulder.
However, I have yet to piece together enough images to feature in said area.
I do know that one will be a maple leaf and it will be the first, the first of many.

Going to Columbia tomorrow to have lunch with a friend and hopefully get something done for once. I've been in need of some good conversation lately about things that matter for a change besides the usual gossip I hear but have no interest in. I hope I find it soon.
