I don't think I have been so shaken. So much has occurred within these past few weeks. I wish I had the time to write out what has been going on, but time has never been something I have had a strong grip on. Instead of sleeping, I am here, blogging away about useless things. I was really looking forward to summer. Spending time with a special friend and those I rarely get to see. It all sounded so grand, but it's all crumbling and falling apart in more ways than one. I am really not sure what the reason for this is. Maybe they are being pulled away so I can better place myself in God rather than people. I have been avoiding Him lately. I get like that sometimes. I just don't want to listen. I guess I can be rather stubborn about things.
On another note, I cannot wait for my numerous road trips this summer. Although they will only be three days long each, I really hope they will be marvelous. I am certain of where two of these road trips will take place.
I hope you're all doing swell.
Goodnight.

No, I'm not sorry for a thing I've done.
Rachel and I went to the river today. We biked down the path and then preceded to wade across the water to the rocks, which was rather a bad idea due to the wind we experienced. The water was quite nice, but when you add in the fact that we came unprepared [no towel or change of clothes], it was a bad idea. Fun, but afterward we were soaked and still had to ride back to campus.
Oh well. It was quite a nice adventure.
I am not looking forward to school ending. Well, classes maybe, but I'm not ready to leave just yet. But I am looking forward to summer and spending it with friends.
And Dignan's playing in a month. I am so stoked.

I buy a magazine searching for your face.
[If you have yet to guess, the titles of my blogs do not correspond with the content. They are simply lyrics taken from a song I am currently listening to. For this blog, it is/was Rachel Yamagata's Reason Why.]
First year of college is nearly over. Another day of classes, two finals, one paper. One fourth of college. Gone by so quickly, and what do I have to say/show for it?
So, for once, my roommate and I bonded, can I say bonded? Maybe. Bonded over television last night. Yes, television. It was rather interesting. So, on Discovery Health, I think, was a show called The National Body Challenge. Where, you guessed it, people attempt to lose weight over a fifteen week period. It is sad and embarrassing that we, as a nation, are interested in watching others lose weight instead of getting outside and doing so ourselves. In any case, the show only used twins. Now I am not certain if they had a reason for going about a weight loss show this way whether it was to show some sort of difference in how each lost weight since they did not mention any other motives. Each set of twins that were presented lost a sufficient amount of weight, nearly 20+ pounds each.
Basically, the show just made me cringe. It also made me want to go throw up, which did not occur, of course. If it were not for the weather, I would be outside right now. Although that should not stop me. A little rain never hurt.

If you're friends with P, then you're friends with me.
So far my day has consisted of being fairly productive, listening to poppy love songs, and eating pita bread along with a liter of green tea. Yeah, it has been that great of a day. Sometimes days like these are the ones you hope you get like opening a present from your grandmother hoping it is not another pair of flannel pajamas. I say this like I have gotten many pairs, but I regret to inform you that I have never received pajamas from my grandmother. Well, not flannel ones at least.
In any case, I have been listening to this band I saw last year with The Blood Brothers. They carry a pretty nice sound. Check them out here. Oh, and also another band you may enjoy, you should check out here. I have to say they are rather a nice addition to my ears. Maybe to yours as well.
My friend told me they would send me a package a few months ago, but now I feel as if I will not receive it. I am full of doubt lately. Ah, well.
