I have found it is much more likely that a meat eater is lacking in plant-based nutrients than a vegetarian lacking in meat-based nutrients. Why does no one ask a meat eater, “Where do you get your Vitamin C? Antioxidants? Vitamin A? Vitamin K? B Vitamins? Magnesium? Potassium?” I think those questions are far more valid.

Who out there just eats meat? What percentage of vegetarians closely monitor their vitamins and these vitamins' sources?

I think she means that meat-eaters focus their meals on meat, which doesn't allow them to get all the nutrients they need. Most of the time the only 'vegetable' that goes with these meals is potatoes. I doubt vegetarians really monitor these, but their diet more than likely is full of these nutrients (unless they only consume carbs in the form of grains).
