History is so time consuming.
However, I have become extremely interested in the Black Death.
Abandoning relatives to save oneself to merely come back to a village and starve to death.
How ironic.
Pictured above is a physician taking precautions before examining a patient. Covered from head to toe along with a bird-like mask, the doctors believed the virus was spread through touch.
Side note: I'm thinking about transferring.

my sister's brought back a bird-ish mask to my dad from venice when they went. it is thoroughly frightening.
